Cream Magenta 295 (Pty) Ltd (owned and run by Treger Brands) is a business involved in the supply of fashion accessories and sleepwear. The origins of Cream Magenta are to be found in Skipper International, established in 1940. In 1976 the business was acquired by Wolfie Pimstein, a legendary character in the clothing industry who manufactured ties, hankies, sleepwear and scarves in downtown Johannesburg. This business has manufactured, imported and distributed to all major chain stores and independents for a continuous period of almost 75 years. The company remained in the Pimstein family until 2013 when it became part of the Treger Group. Today, Cream Magenta continues to flourish as a major player in the local clothing industry, supplying scarves, ties, handkerchiefs, sleepwear, sarongs, headbands, beanies and hats to discerning customers and leading stores across South Africa.
